At Botalys, quality, safety and sustainability are at the core of everything we do. We are a Belgian producer of rare medicinal plants and health-beneficial ingredients, using innovative indoor farming technology that allows full control of cultivation conditions while minimizing our environmental footprint.
Our Quality Policy reflects the strong commitment of Botalys’ management to delivering safe, compliant and high-quality ingredients to our customers in the nutraceutical, cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical industries.

We listen to and address the expectations of our customers, partners, regulatory authorities and employees by delivering products that meet applicable legal, regulatory and quality requirements.
Process control and traceability
We ensure rigorous control at every stage of our processes - from controlled-environment cultivation to processing and release - through robust process control, full traceability, risk management and prevention of cross-contamination.
Continuous improvement
Botalys is engaged in a continuous improvement approach and maintains a Quality Management System aligned with internationally recognized standards, including ISO 9001 and EFfCI GMP (certifications in progress), as well as relevant food safety and agricultural standards such as FSSC 22000 and GLOBALG.A.P., where applicable.
Food safety and regulatory compliance
We comply with applicable food safety laws and regulations in Belgium and in the countries where our products are distributed. Products intended for the Muslim market in the nutraceutical sector are Halal-certified. Selected products are Kosher-certified, in accordance with applicable standards and certification requirements.
People and competence
We ensure that our teams are trained, competent and actively involved in quality, safety and regulatory compliance, in line with good manufacturing practices and continuous improvement principles.
Environmental and ethical responsibility
We are committed to minimizing our ecological impact through sustainable indoor production, responsible management of resources and waste, and an ethical, transparent and responsible supply chain.
